§ 1.08.010. General penalty.

Whenever in the Town Charter or this Code or in any ordinance or resolution of the town any act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an offense or a misdemeanor, and where no specific penalty is provided therefor, the violation of any such provision shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by incarceration for not more than ninety (90) days, or by both. Each day any violation of any provision of the Charter or of this Code or of any ordinance or resolution shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
